SRISOL Group brings “NOVASOL™” – the worlds first Food Grade PVC Free Plastisol made out of true Polyolefins. This is an initiative from the group to be in line with the forthcoming regulatory compliances for various products to the Food and Beverage industry. Environmental concerns such as Global Warming, Carbon Positive etc prompted us to develop PVC Free food grade plastisol. The existing Plastisol is made from PVC and have plasticizers such as Dioctyl Phthalate, Epoxydised Soyabean Oil etc. The phthalate migration takes place into the pack, resulting in the spoilage of food. It also effects the Endocrine system of the human body.
NOVASOL™ – Food grade PVC Free Plastisol is totally NON PVC in all aspects. It is made from polyolefins. The added advantage with this product is that it is applicable on the existing line of PVC Plastisol, i.e one need not have to change the machine or the application methodology.

- It has a very good pot life. The viscosity is stable even after storage for long duration.
- The Shore hardness of NOVASOL™ varies between 60 to 85, Shore ‘A’.
- It is also very low on Carbon Footprints, as its baking temperature is much lower than that of PVC Plastisols.
- NOVASOL™ is process resistant, it can take processing.
NOVASOL™ finds its application in the packaging industry where it can be used in LUG Caps, ROPP closures as the gaskets. In the Textile industry, in the form of printing ink etc.
As it is low temperature curing .. it saves on the energy cost, and also results in low carbon footprints… which is environmental friendly .
Productivity also increases, as one can run the line at higher speed. |
