Dr. Rashi Upmanyu – a medical Doctor who has worked extensively with us using anatomy and physiology of human hand coupled with biomechanics, kinesiology, physiotherapy, psychophysics on harmful effects of high opening torques on human hands, define safe limits of the opening torques as varying between 6 to 8 lbf/sq. inch max. In other words – OPENING TORQUES HIGHER THAN THESE CAN BE HARMFUL FOR HUMAN HAND.
